HAVE A WONDERFUL TIME WITH YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS!
Dear Parents/Guardians, Hi! Hope you all are doing well and your child is enjoying 7th grade this year. We just spent a wonderful morning watching “A Christmas Carol”. Drury Lane put on a beautiful production of the play and our students were so well behaved. We are all so proud of them!\ We have been busy in science class completing labs, compiling data, and using various note taking strategies in class. The students are doing a fabulous job! We are just finishing up Chapter 2 on Diffusion and Osmosis. The Gummy Bear Osmosis Lab tied in these main concepts. This lab will be due on Tuesday, December 5. We will then move on to Chapter 3 – Heredity. Along with this unit comes loads of amazing projects – “Frosty Phenotypes” – “Alien Babies” – Punnett Squares. The students will be learning about genotypes and phenotypes. They will know the difference between a dominant and recessive gene are. It is a very interesting unit as we study genetics. If you would like to know what is coming up each week, please check out my teacher page under “This Week in Class”. Any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Enjoy this festive time of year. Warmly, Mrs. Susan Hartley 815-469-4330 Ext 164 email@example.com
