Fourth Quarter has been very busy in music.  We have explored music around the world, instruments, musical form, and drumming.  First and Second grade students looked at dynamics, the musical scale, and ostinato.  Third and Fourth grade escaped the music room, played guitars and keyboards, explored musical form.  Over the summer, look for some musical experiences:

  • Make your own musical instrument.
  • Attend an outdoor concert or movie.
  • Sing songs on a long car ride.
  • Find music in nature.
Have a wonderful summer!  See you next year!
We recently started a new Internet Safety Curriculum called Common Sense Media.  This program focuses on teaching students to make safe, smart, and ethical decisions online.  Please look for the weekly family note for the topic covered each week.  For more information about Common Sense Media visit the following web page: Common Sense Media
