This is our last week of school before Spring Break. Spring Break is the week of March 26th and we return to school on Tuesday, April 3rd. PARCC Tests will start on Wednesday after spring break. The first week will be reading and the second week will be math. Please make sure your child is well rested, has a healthy breakfast, and brings a snack to school each day. Please remember to check your child's take home folders and assignment notebooks daily. Please make time each day for your child to read. It would be great if he/she read for at least 20 minutes a day. This can include someone taking turns reading with him/her, reading aloud, or reading independently. Thank you so much! Students have started using a new typing program in school: This program is free, and it can be used at home too. Note: As the weather is changing, please remember to dress appropriately. Students will be going outside for recess. Students should have coat/jacket, mittens/gloves, hat, and scarf to wear while at recess. It is always a good idea to have a sweatshirt or sweater available for the classrooms.
