HAPPY DECEMBER!!
Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!!! 
Next week is going to be a busy week getting ready for the Winter Program.  The program is scheduled for Wednesday.  There are two performances.  One at 10:45 and the other in the afternoon at 1:45.  
ENGLISH-
We are going to be working on nouns-- singular and plural possessive nouns.
READING-

Our new story for the week is going to continue with "Coming Distractions".   The history of movie making.

SPELLING WORDS FOR THE WEEK ARE:

MATH-
We are goig to be working on double digit multiplication--- 22 x 17 =    The chapter 3 test will be on Wednesday, December 12th.
SOCIAL STUDIES
We have started Westward Expansion.  We are currently learning about Lewis and Clark.
READING CALENDARS
Students are required to read Monday through Thursday night for 20 minutes a night.  They should record the title of the book read on their calendar and a parent should initial the calendar.  The September calendar will be going home on Tuesday!

We recently started a new Internet Safety Curriculum called Common Sense Media.  This curriculum focuses on teaching students to make safe, smart, and ethical decisions online.
