Hope everyone had a wonderful extra long weekend and stayed warm!
ENGLISH-
We are going to begin verbs. We will be reviewing present, past, and future tense verbs.
READING-

Our new story is going to be "Hurricanes"  

SPELLING WORDS FOR THE WEEK ARE:

MATH-
We are going to finish Chapter 5  multiples and factors.  The test will be on Wednesday.
SOCIAL STUDIES
We have started Westward Expansion.  We will be talking about The Indian Removal Act, The Trail of Tears, The Oregon Trail, and The California Gold Rush.
READING CALENDARS
Students are required to read Monday through Thursday night for 20 minutes a night.  They should record the title of the book read on their calendar and a parent should initial the calendar.  The September calendar will be going home on Tuesday!

We recently started a new Internet Safety Curriculum called Common Sense Media.  This curriculum focuses on teaching students to make safe, smart, and ethical decisions online.
