Assignments

The only homework that there ever is for our class is to read to your children, play with your children and let them be kids!! That's hard enough work all by itself! Enjoy every moment and take the good with the bad. Together we can make big strides!

Winter 2018
Well, at least it is supposed to be winter!  We have had some nice and mild weather which has been great for many things, but not great for killing the germs.  I hope this freeze that is upon us will help to kill some germs and get everyone healthy again.  We have had quite a few little ones sick in our room, so please make sure that you are following these precautions to help us stop the spread of germs.  If your child seems 'off' or to not be themselves, please keep them home.  It is so hard for our little ones to let us know how they are feeling and sometimes the signs are hard to spot.  If your child is having an 'off' day, please know that it is more important for them to be well and anything they miss will be taught the next time they are well and in school.  If your child is not eating as much as normal, this can be a sign that their throat is bothering them.  If your child has a fever, the rule is that they can not return to school until they are fever free for 24 hours without medicine.  If you give your child tylenol at noon and they are fever free at 4:00p.m. and remain fever free, then 24 hours after that 4:00p.m. mark is when they can return to school.  If their fever returns at any point, the cycle starts all over.  I know that it can be hard for everyone, especially working parents, to keep them home for that extra day, but it will truly help to stop the spread of illness in our room.  The same 24 hour rule applies to throwing up.  No one wants a sick child or to spread illness to their household and if everyone would follow these guidelines, we will be sure to have the healthiest room in the school!!
