This month’s session will feature a guest speaker, retired Sgt. Diane DiSalvo from Be Sure Consulting (besureconsulting.com). Be Sure Consulting School Cyber Training empowers students and parents to keep safe on their social networks, gaming platforms, and devices. Topics will include protecting your family from cyber-bullies, understanding what is on your child’s phone applications, and how internet predators gain access to children through their cell phone applications. Discussion will also include the dangers of online gaming and posting photos to Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat as well as file sharing, sexting, and video sharing online. Parents will also learn how to control and monitor computers in their homes as well as their children’s cell phones, and which cell phones are safest for children.
