Community Relations

The Communications Department is responsible for a variety of internal and external initiatives, including:

 

  • Managing district social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn)

  • Contributing news and photos to district website/app

  • Production of Engage161 community newsletter

  • Creation of We Are 161 employee enewsletter

  • Developing district news and feature stories

  • Photographing events and managing district photo library

  • Updating content on Mary Drew Administration Center marquee and TV monitors 

  • Coordinating Summit Awards for Board of Education

  • Writing of Board Briefs meeting summaries
