Assignments

Redo’s/Reassessment All students can redo work. Formative assignments guide the learning process and I believe redoing the assignments can improve learning, but it must be resubmitted within a week. For Summative Assessments, students are to complete a “Request to Retest Form” and submit evidence studying. The form is in a folder on my bulletin board.

Parents,
If your student is having hardware troubles with your school-issued tablet (bad screen, blue screen issues, non-functioning keyboard, etc.), please communicate with your child’s teachers that you are having technology issues and may have limited ability to complete assignments.

Afterward, please email tech directly at shjhtechsupport@summithill.org. Please be sure to include your email contact information, along with your child's name, grade, and a description of the problem.

They will try remote repairs with you first. If that does not work, they will work with you to send out a replacement unit via UPS, which will include a return label for the non-working tablet.
