POSITIVE BEHAVIOR INTERVENTION AND SUPPORTS defines expectations using a behavioral matrix. It teaches expectations through direct instruction and pre-corrects and corrects behaviors. PBIS reminds students of expectations on a daily basis and celebrates successes by acknowledging positive behavior.
