Sports Physicals

Please Note: In order to tryout for and/or participate in any athletic team, you must have a valid (within one calendar year) doctor's physical on file with the office at Hilda Walker Intermediate School. All sports also require Insurance Form & Code of Conduct, available for download below. 

SHHW Athletic Boosters Club

We are looking for parents who are interested in volunteering and supporting the student athletes at Summit Hill and Hilda Walker! Watch for our meeting announcement on the district calendar. Thank you to all who supported us through the Pork Chop Dinner, Biddy Ball, Staff vs Students, 3/3 basketball, and Little Caesars! We welcome all parents to join us for any of our meetings on the second Wednesday of every month. Go Spartans! Go Wildcats!

                                    Open to all 5-8th grade students. Summer practice starts in August and will end in October. Practices will be held every day during the school week. Meets are scheduled typically on Tuesdays and Wednesdays along with a Saturday Invite Meet.

                                    Intramural Bowling

                                    •   Coach: Mrs. Tammy Johnson
                                      •   Activity Fee: $30
                                        •   Additional Fees: $4/week (games); $2/week (shoes)

                                          Bowling Club is an intramural club where anyone can participate. Students will enjoy bowling with friends in a non-competitive, relaxed environment. It is a great way to meet new people.

                                          • Who can join? All 5th and 6th grade students with or without bowling experience. The club is limited to the first 55 students.
                                            • When is bowling club? After winter break.
                                              • Where do the students bowl? Tinley Park Bowl @ 7601 W 183rd St.
                                                • How do students get to the bowling alley? Students take a bus from Walker to the bowling alley.
                                                  • How do students get home? Students must get picked up at the bowling alley at 4:45 PM. If students do not have someone available to pick them up at the bowling alley, then they should not attend bowling club.

                                                    Intramural Volleyball

                                                    •   Girls' Coaches: Mrs. Dawn Krueger, Mrs. Laura Meagher, Mrs. Nicole Rafa
                                                      •   Boys' Coaches: Mrs. Anita Becker, Mrs. Tracy DeCesare
                                                        •   Fees: $30.00

                                                          This is an intramural club where anyone can participate. In order to participate, you will need a current physical on file and pay a $30 participation fee. Students will be randomly placed on teams that will play on designated days. Each team will play each other once and then the last week have a tournament to place the top three teams who will then play the teachers in a spring assembly.
